HOLLYWOOD CLASSICS # 2 Towering Inferno

In 1974 Hollywood released the movie "The Towering Inferno" which created a big hype at the time and gave Hollywood a new boost to release more "disaster" movies... The movie had an all star cast with people like; Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway, Fred Astair, William Holden, Paul Newman and Richard Chamberlain just to name a few. All of them were great actors and already legends. They would made this movie a big hit and an "Hollywood Classic"! Even today this movie entertains audiences all over the world when shown on TV. It was also the first movie ever to receive an "Oscar" for special effects! Many years ago we had a fire in the apartment building where I live! Although I live on the 4th floor and the fire was on one of the floors above me I've never been so fast out of the door! I always had said if there ever will be a fire I will take this & that and safe this & that & those..... but when it was for real I only brought myself and my dog Jenna which was a Bouvier with me. She was afraid of going down the stairs so I had to carry her all the way down! Lucky me it was only for four floors! Last week in Hartford, CT there was a fire drill during the day, at 11am to be exact. The next morning however at 6am the alarm went off again but this time it was for real! There was a fire at the Hilton hotel and no the fire was not created by Paris! It started somewhere in the boiler room they said on TV. This time I had to walk down from the 10th floor which wasn't too bad knowing that the building has 22 stories....... The funny part was that now I actually could see what people "really" look like when they get out of bed so early......especially some of the woman without any make-up. Italian skater Valentina Marchei must have read my mind cause when I past her she said "you think you still will recognize me tonight?" She had to skate her free program that night!

Skate America 2006

.John Kerr, Maxim Staviski, Albena Denkova, Sinead Kerr

Just got back from Skate America which took place in Hartford, CT. I had to judge both the Men's event and the Ladies event. It's obvious that we are still very early in the season cause nobody skated at their best which is normal, they all want to be at their very best at Europeans and Worlds next year. In the city of Hartford wasn't much to do/to see so I was lucky to be drawn on two events cause otherwise....... it would have been boring (during the day that is)! After the competitions we had a great time cause most of my friends in skating were present in Hartford! People like; Karen Archer, Taffy Holliday, Steve Winkler, Cynthia Benson and many more. My two Referees were Benoit Lavoie for the Men's event and Robbie Rosenbluth for the Ladies event. Both of them are very good friends of mine and both of them are as crazy as can be! Benoit is Canadian and lives in Quebec while Robbie lives in New-York City and is the prototype of what we Europeans call "a crazy American"! LOL With these two guys present you can be sure that you will have a blast!!! It was also great to see two of my favorite "Ice Dance" couple's participating in Hartford. Sinead & John Kerr from Great Britain and Albena Denkova & Maxim Staviski from Bulgaria. Albena & Maxim won the competition and are also the present "World Champions" while Sinead & John had a bad skate which placed them only 5th overall while they could have made it to the podium easily. There are links to both couples' website's on the right hand site of this page so don't forget to check them out!

Monkey behavior

Are we monkeys or not?

Sometimes we would say yes! Monkeys some times really act like humans while humans most of the time act like monkeys! At least I know somebody who once made a fool of himself riding on a "monkey-bike", behaving like a monkey but since he knows that I love animals
....... he knows I still love him! lol

Check out these links if you want to see some monkeys acting like humans!

At 2 "something" changed my life...

Me at the age of two
"I started off when I was two" is a one-liner used by Diana Ross in her show when she looks back on her career with the Supremes. For Diana Ross it may be a one-liner but for me it is the truth. I fell in love with the sound of her voice when I was two so I can actually say "It started off for me when I was two!" At that time in my life I didn't know who Diana Ross was cause she was only the lead singer of The Supremes! Later they would become "Diana Ross & The Supremes" --- in fact not that much later cause the song I love so much is " The happening" and was the last song released under the name "The Supremes". Anyway, every time I heard that song I went crazy if I may believe my parents! After a couple of weeks they got me the 45" (single). For those who don't know what a single is......it's black vinyl and you play it on a turntable. After a couple of days I was singing and dancing along with the record! I couldn't speak much at the age of two and definitely not in English! LOL I must have driven my parents nuts by singing along to that song. Years would pass by and every now and then I will hear "this voice" on the radio not knowing who it is. In the late seventies Diana Ross starred as Dorothy in the movie "The Wiz" together with Michael Jackson. All kids at the skating rink were in love with Michael but I liked the sound of Diana Ross' voice! One day my dad said that there was a show on TV starring Diana Ross. In this show she only sang one song from "The Wiz" being "Home". "Home" came on as the 5th or 6th song during the show but by then I was already mesmerized by what I had seen! The opening of that show "At Caesars Palace" was FANTASTIC!!! If you like glitz and glamour that's the opening you have to see for yourself! From then on I started to collect all Diana's albums and single's but only her solo work although I had run into some of her work with "The Supremes" I never had felt the urge of buying those! I already had collected some of Diana's other single's like "Do you know where you're going to", "Love hangover", "Upside down" and many more... When I went for the first time to Florida I finally bought a "Diana Ross & The Supremes" album. It was their greatest hits album. When I came home I played the entire album only to fall from one surprise into another! Most of the songs on that album I knew for years! Actually I could sing them one by one but than again.....who doesn't know songs like "Baby love", "Where did our love go", "You can't hurry love" and "You keep me hangin' on"!? Even if you don't like them you know the lyrics. On that same album there was a song called "The Happening" and when I played it, it brought back all these memories! I couldn't remember I had that 45" but my mother told me the story from when I was two years old --- and yes.....she was right! I still had that single so it suddenly occurred to me that it had been Diana's voice I was hearing every time I heard these supreme songs on the radio but never did put one and one together...

Here's a link to that great song made popular by "Diana Ross & The Supremes" live on "The Ed Sullivan show"!

a special 19

I just got home from Liberec, Czech Republic and leave for Hartford, USA tomorrow to judge Skate America! This will be my 19th time in the U.S.A.!!! I can't believe that it's already my 19th time! OK... I have to admit that it is my favorite country in the world to visit but still..... 19 times is a lot! It also seems that at this time in my life 19 is a special number! Just take a look to see what I mean.

---I always felt (and still feel) that my 19th year on earth was the most special one.

---That was the year that I was allowed to do everything, going out till late at night or should I say early in the morning cause I never returned home before 9 am in the morning.

---If I did something childish or so, people still would say..... oh but he's still a child and very young! He will act like an adult later on give him some time to grow up (that did never happen!-lol)

---It was also the year that I was released from the Army which I had joined the year before! At that time it was mandatory for every 18 year old Belgian man to serve your country for at least 8 months. When you did your time in Germany it was 8 months but when you stayed in Belgium it was for 10 months . Since I stayed in Belgium I had to do the 10 months but that gave me the possibility to go home and sleep in my own bed every night and I only had to be present 4 days a week!!! The only "not so good thing" was that I had to stay in the Army for one complete weekend every month but then again.......the week afterwards I only had to be present for 3 days! LOL

---After I left the Army I was considered a real man! That's what everybody always has said..... They make you a man at the Army! Yeah right......... Anyway, I felt like I was going to conquer the world the day I walked through the gates the very last time! I never returned to pay them a visit although I had a great time there!

---As a teacher at the driving school I have met a lot of people. With some I still have contact today. Believe it or not but five of my favorite students of all time took their lessons when I was teaching for 19 years! Michaël, Tom, John, Jan and Kevin. Tom, Michaël and Kevin were going to the same school and Tom and Michaël were also class mates.

---The little kid I talked about in the "I love you" post "Dean-tje"has his birthday on March 19

---It's also the age that I consider of losing my virginity technically speaking. Although I was sexually active a couple of years before this was the year I "did it" with somebody I fell in love with! Previous experiences were just...experiments.

---At this time in my life it happened to be that the person I seem to care for the most is 19 years old at the moment!

---Two of the girls I like the most when I was young had their birthday on April 19 but we lost complete contact! Too bad cause I still think about them from time to time! Geneviéve I skated with and Els was a student from the driving school.

---As you know by now my Idol is Diana Ross and when she hit it big in the U.S. (with her group The Supremes) she was only 19 years old! This song is called "When the lovelight starts shining through is eyes" and is the song for today!

When rides go wrong!

As most of you know...I love rollercoaster's! I like them tall with steep drops, wicked turns and they have to be fast. Very fast!!! I also like other rides as long as they don't spin too long! Otherwise I get sick.... and that will ruin my day! I try to visit at least three amusement parks every summer and sometimes one during the winter. In these parks you'll find something for everyone's taste. The fast coaster's, the Merry-go-around, a big wheel, a free fall tower, etc... Amusement parks have their own maintenance people who will check on the safety of the rides every once in a while! I think that's a good thing! It gives you a safe feeling when you ride those things. Of course as a visitor you never know how strict the policy of the amusement park on safety is so sometimes it can go wrong! And yes.....if it goes wrong you pray that you're not on that ride!!!

1=They say that water can be fun to play with but water also has mass power

2=I never liked coasters with loopings! Not that I'm afraid but you will see...if something goes wrong it always seem to happen in the loop!A friend of mine was on a rollercoaster here in Belgium that got stuck upside down! Yes Warre... this one's for you! It's another coaster, at another park, but... with the same problem!

Trusting your partner, no matter what!

In every relationship you have to trust your partner! It doesn't matter what kind of relationship you're in. It can be lovers, parents-children, busyness partners, or in sports. When it comes to sports I think that in pair skating the girls really have to trust their partner. If you see how they are lifted and thrown into the air you sometimes start wondering... are these girls crazy? When you speak with them they all say the same... it's fun, it's dangerous and you don't think about what can go wrong... and sometimes it does go wrong!!! In my opinion one of the worst falls ever accured to Tatiana Totmianina & Maxim Marinin during their long program at Skate America 2004.
I just had judged them the year before in Dortmund at the World Championships where they won the Gold! After a fall like this it takes a while before you're ready to go for it again... but Tatiana & Maxim did and this year at the Olympics in Torino they showed the world that they have moved on after this terrible accident bringing the Gold home for Russia!

Only for the brave!!! Here's the link to the most terrible fall in pair skating history

"Take me to that place.....higher!"

"Take me higher", a song by (who else than) Diana Ross means a lot to me! Not only because it is one of my favorite dance tracks by Diana and that I heard it for the first time on the radio when I came back from Oberstdorf after I passed my exam to become an ISU-judge..... It also translates to one of my other hobbies..... Rollercoaster's! I like them fast, long and high! "Take me to that place higher.........!" Top Thrill Dragster opened in 2003 in Sandusky, Ohio and was the highest and fastest Rollercoaster in the world at that time! With it's 27 seconds in total it probably was also the shortest ride ever!!! lol.
Anyway, that summer I got the chance to visit Cedar Point, the amusement park where it's located. At first I wasn't sure if I was gonna ride that beast which is 125 meters high with a 90° drop! As a real rollercoaster-fanatic I had to do it! I traveled all the way from Belgium to Ohio for this one so I wasn't gonna chicken out on it! The lines that day were about 4 hours for only 27 seconds!? This was too much!!! I was there all by myself cause I was on my way to Canada to judge there but made a stop-over in Ohio first! This gave me the advantage to sneak in so I didn't had to wait 4 hours in line! I was lucky cause there was a couple who were waiting in line and when they passed me the man asked if I wanted to ride with his wife cause he wasn't going on it! He was just waiting in line with her to keep her company. This means that I only had to wait in line for 45 minutes! The closer I got to the ride the more nervous I became! Normally I'm not nervous anymore but this time it was different!!! The highest coaster I did until then was only 68 meters... We took the last seat! If I was going to do it I decided to do it good from the beginning! I love the feeling you get when the train pulls down the last car over the hill! Air-tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmeeee......... Anyway, when we drove out of the station I automatically checked my seatbelt and lap bar once more. Waiting to be launched was the hardest part! My heart was beating like crazy! Then there was the launch!!! From 0 to 120 MILES/HOUR in only 4 seconds! My brain didn't register everything that passed me by until we hit the top of Top Thrill Dragster! What a spectacular view!!!! I didn't had much time to enjoy the scenery cause before I knew it we were on our way down! And down it went!!! BACKWARDS!!! We just had this rollback! We didn't make it to the top the first time! This was awesome! Never experienced something like that in my entire life! The second time we made it over the top which was also a great experience! The day after I did this coaster again and had about 10 launches but only 8 times we made it to the finish! If you want to ride it visit Cedar Point or just click on this link!

Blistering Heat

.Blistering Heat in concert

If any of you think that Punk Metal is dead.......think again! A couple of weeks ago I went to see some kind of "Battle of the Stars" which took place in Sint-Katelijne-Waver. It's called DRCC which stands for "Duffelse Rock Cover Competition". The following groups made a good impression on me.

BLISTERING HEAT (Hove)
SYNTAX ERROR (Duffel)
LEAFPEOPLE (Kontich)

The Leafpeople won but I liked Blistering Heat more. They already created their own style which leans on to Metallica. In my opinion this means.... a lot of noise but still good music. There's still some melody when they play! LOL. The group is formed around front man Jan Verhoeven (guitar/singer) with Jense (drummer), Maarten (guitar, backing vocals), Pieter (bass guitar). Pieter is their youngest member (14!!!) but man can he play!!!!!! I've never seen somebody this young handling a bass guitar like that! Also front man Jan is a great musician! I think they have a great future together if they keep up the good work! I included some pictures from their performance at DRCC! If you'd like to see them "live" go to RuckRock Oct. 20th, 2006. More info about Blistering Heat and RuckRock... click here http://users.telenet.be/blisteringheat
Enjoy Blistering Heat!

Jelle Butzen

Yesterday I have judged some National tests in Luik (Liege) which weren't the best of quality... However one really stood out with his performance! Jelle Butzen is the first skater ever who has reached the Gold Moves test here in Belgium and I'm not afraid to say that we propably never will see a test quite like that anymore. It was FANTASTIC!!! I didn't even know that we had a skater with skating skills like Jelle Butzen! Congratulations!!!

Versace

. Diana Ross in Versace
Like I said in a previous post...as a judge I sometimes stay at 5* hotels and are invited to these nice receptions and dinners. This means that you have to behave (only in public) all the time not to disturb the other guests. When you go to receptions and things like that you never know who you gonna meet there... At the Olympics I met Prince Albert from Monaco, Crown Prince Willem Alexander from The Netherlands and his wife Princes Maxima, Princes Ann from Great Britain and some others. Being in the same room with Royalty is not so different or special as it may sound to you... They're human just like all of us however they dress differently.... a little more expensive than most of us but not always wear it with style...lol. That's why I made it a point that I always will dress up no matter the occasion and it doesn't always have to be expensive to be a sharp dressed man. Normally I don't spend a lot of money on clothes..... but sometimes I do! My favorite designer is the Late Gianni Versace! I love his clothes. They're so elegant and stylish! In 1998 I judged my first European Championships in Milan, Italy and decided to buy me a black Versace suite there. After Gianni was killed in Miami his sister Donatella took over the company Gianni had built up with his brother Santo Versace. At the beginning she tried to keep the Gianni Versace look but couldn't! In my opinion she doesn't have the same talent as her brother anyway. The clothes became more and more trashy and I wasn't interested anymore! If you have seen one collection you have seen them all! Anyway, last year there was a change cause the clothes became again more elegant and glamorous! I included some picks from the Versace Spring Collection 2006 which I like very much! In the links section you will find a link to the Versace website under Fashion.

Nancy Kerrigan (& me)

As a judge I must admit that I also have my favorite skaters out there but I always judge honestly. I never went in favor for a skater that I like or wen't against a skater I don't like. U.S. skater Nancy Kerrigan always has been one of my favorite skaters. Can you imagine how thrilled I was when I had to judge her at the "Piruetten 1993" in Hamar, Norway. This competition was my third International one and was the biggest event I had to judge to that date. This competition was known as "the pre-Olympics" for the Olympics of 1994 in Lillehammar and Mrs. Britta Lindgren was my Referee. I remember when I saw Nancy for the first time in real life I did not recognize her. She's much smaller in real life than on TV. On top of that...during the practice she had her hair hang loose while during competition it always was pulled back. After about 10 minutes into that first training session I finally had recognized her! LOL She came out on the ice as starting #1 for the short program. She missed her jump combination but that didn't hold her from the first place after the Short program! In fact the day after she also won the Free program awarding her the Gold medal. This also gave her more confidence to get to the gold at the Olympics. Unfortunately she didn't get that one.... although she should have! Here's Nancy's Short program from "Piruetten 1993"! Keep watching until 5.02 minutes cause you will get to see a "WORLD FAMOUS JUDGE!" (with a lot more hair....) LOL----------I was judge #7 at that competition.

HOLLYWOOD CLASSICS #1 Singin' in the rain (on & off ice)

As a kid I adored the movie "Singin' in the rain" starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds & Donald O'Connor. The least I can say is that this movie is a classic! Gene a great dancer must have been an inspiration to a lot of dancers. It also turns out be that he's an inspiration for some skaters as well..... Many skated to that piece of music during exhibitions but nobody did it the way Canadian skater Kurt Browning did! His performance is Legendary in his own way! You don't have to take my word for granted all you have to do is follow this link to see Kurt's interpretation of an Hollywood Classic!!! ENJOY

12th of the month

The plane that crashed into this building in New-York yesterday was an accident. According to the newspaper here in Belgium the pilot, Cory Lidle a baseball player with the New-York Yankees, just got his flight permit last year. Question; how is it still possible that planes still can fly over New-York city after 9/11.....................

Wednesday, October 11, 2006

11th of the month...

Coincidence or not... but today October 11th a small plane crashed into a New-York apartment building. Up to now nobody knows if it is another terrorist attack or just an accident! Anyway, seeing these images brings back the memories of September 11th 2001. This is a day we may not forget! As a kid, to me, these building were the face of New-York. As you know each city has his own skyline but the twin towers gave New-York this special something that made this city his skyline different from any other city in the world! The first time I ever saw them was in the video for Rod Stewards single "Sailing". After seeing movies like "King Kong" where Kong jumps from one tower to the other and The Wiz where Diana Ross gets her chance to finally see the wiz, I knew I wanted to see those towers in real life! I really got fascinated by these buildings! In 1996 (10 years ago and 5 years before they were destroyed) I had the chance to go to New-York but didn't had the time to go inside. I never will..... I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out about the first plane that slammed into one of the towers. I was driving with a student on the "Kon. Elisabethlaan" in Kontich when I received a message on my phone from my dad saying that a plane had crashed into one of the buildings. I remember not being surprised cause with three major airports in the neighborhood anything can happen so I didn't give it much attention. A couple of minutes later I got another one saying that a second plane had hit the second tower! I knew that this wasn't right! After I completed my lesson I canceled all other lessons of the day to go home to watch television what was really happening! While I was seeing these images I started thinking on all my friends in the U.S. especially the one's in New-York, like Robbie, Lucie, Ann & Coco. After that I realized that normally I had to be in New-York that day! I was going to judge the Junior Grand Prix in Phoenix one week later and decided to spend one week of vacation in New-York the week before the event. If my boss wouldn't had turned down my vacation I was in New-York from September 10th until the 15th now I was leaving for Phoenix on the 17th and was going to Los Angeles after the competition instead. Three days later we found out that the competition was canceled and that we couldn't fly to the U.S. anyway...... It was a great relieve that all of my friends in New-York were ok!

This is a must see video in memory of 9/11, a day we may not forget!!!

Blast from the past! #1 (Thriller by Michael Jackson)

I always loved music aspecially when it's by a black artist, that's why I love Jazz, Blues, Disco, Funk, Philly & Motown. In the late 60's there was this little black boy who formed a group with his 4 older brother's. When they signed with Motown Records in Detroit nobody knew how popular this little kid from Gary Indiana would become. In recent years he didn't do much but there were other times..... I'm talking about Michael Jackson here. Not only did he change his own face... he definately changed the face of popular music. Music video's weren't always the way as we know them now! In 1983 Michael made "Beat it" which was a great video but nothing compared to "Thriller". In my opinion that's still "the best" music video EVER!!! The fourteen-minute Michael Jackson "Thriller" music video, better known as Michael Jackson's Thriller, directed by John Landis, is often hailed as the best and most popular music video of all time. Thriller, in essence, redefined the concept of music videos. It was the most expensive video of its time, costing $800,000 — the equivalent of $1.4 million today.Thriller was less than conventional video and more of a full-fledged short subject or mini-film; a horror film spoof featuring choreographed zombies performing with Jackson. During the video, Jackson transforms into both a zombie and a werewolf; familiar territory for Landis, who had directed An American Werewolf in London two years earlier. Co-starring with Jackson was former Playboy Centerfold Ola Ray. The video was choreographed by Michael Peters (who had worked with the singer on his prior hit "Beat It" and later would join Diana Ross on stage in Central Park), with significant contributions by Jackson. The video contains a spoken word performance by Vincent Price, himself a veteran of countless horror films. The singer, at the time a devout Jehovah's Witness, added a disclaimer to the start of the video, saying: "Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult."To qualify for an Academy Award, "Thriller" was debuted at a special theatrical screening, along with the animated motion picture Fantasia. It was met enthusiastically by the audience with a standing ovation, and most patrons left without seeing the main feature! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4-IlviV8Ao

Junior Grand Prix The Hague

Just got back from The Hague yesterday where I had the chance to meet some of my good friends in figure skating. People like Liz, Steve, Walter, Mary-Karen, Fiona, Vera and many more... It's always fun cause we don't see each other that often! I think that it was about 4 or even 5 years ago that I saw Fiona for the last time. She's from South Africa and seeing her back in The Hague was great. I was very happy for her when during the initial judges draw I picked her out of the little bag so that she could serve as a judge on my panel! The word was out that there were too many judges present in The Hague and that two of them didn't had to work at all!!! Can you imagine flying in from South Africa just to find out that you can't judge because there are too many judges? Worse, because of that falling from the ISU list next year because she needed an activity to stay on that list!!!!! I think I would go crazy! As a Referee I was sure that I had to work and hard work it was! Almost 6 hours of judging for the Short program and the same for the Free program. Judging Ladies is my favorite event in figure skating but 34 Junior Ladies was a little too much!!! I can't handle them anymore..... Getting old I guess? LOL I must say that 2 really stood out and not with their performance.... One girl was wearing these "very special costumes"..... Everytime she did a spin or spiral I was thinking that her boobies were gonna fall out of her dress! I'm very openminded so it didn't bother me at all... An other girl was flirting with me during her program. We all know that it's just part of the choreography but it was fun! All judges had noticed it to! LOL When I passed her during the banquet she was affraid to look at me but during her program..... I included a picture from Madison Hubbell & Keiffer Hubbell who won the ice dance event. They are fantastic!!! Both of them are very nice people and I wish them both good luck at the Junior Grand Prix Final and U.S. Nationals! Check out the link to their website which you can find under sport!

Brad Patton (Swedish figure skater, pornstar) part 2

I just got back from The Hague (Holland) today where I had to Referee the Ladies event in the Junior Grand Prix.

I received an email from Brad on Friday saying that he couldn't come to The Hague cause he had some business to take care of in Barcelona.

In the mean time, enjoy Brad's artistic skate program from the "2006 Out Games"

Brad Patton (Swedish figure skater, pornstar)

As most of you know I'm a judge in figure skating which means (to the general public) traveling the world to far and exotic places, visiting places where nobody else has ever been, meeting interesting and famous people, staying at 5* hotels, going from one reception to another, etc......! They see it as if I'm going on holiday or so...... I'm here to tell you folks..... IT'S ALL TRUE!!!! Well the reality is that maybe 10% is like that but most of the time it's hard work, lot of stress and a lot of commitment aspecially when you want to do a good job! A couple of years ago there was a rumour that an ex Swedish figure skater became a famous porn star!? Nobody in the figure skating world seem to know him altough everybody was talking about him... so we all thought that it was just another rumour... This year I was invited as a judge by Skate Canada (Canadian figure skating federation) to come to Montreal and judge the "Out Games" which I accepted cause I love Canada and wanted to show the world that there's nothing wrong with being different! By the time I had to leave for Canada I had to cancel cause my boss had turned down my aplication for my days off at work. Too bad cause I think it would have been great fun judging the "Out Games". Recently I was surfing the internet to see if there was something posted on the results and aspecially the figure skating results cause we had a Belgian skater participating! By doing so I came across a guy named Brad Patton and it was said that he is a pornstar... I started thinking is this the guy......... I went to his website just to find out that he's a gay pornstar but that in fact he was born in Australia and became a Junior Champion in Sweden. The rumours are true! At his website there was a link where you could contact him which I did asking him things about figure skating never expecting an answer! To my surprise he got back to me and it turns out that he knows Britta Lindgren one of my dear friends in figure skating! He lives in Amsterdam right now and since I Referee the Junior Grand Prix in The Hague I told him about this competition. There's a chance that he's coming to see the competition. I'll let you know if he did next week after the competition. In the mean time enjoy his performance at the "Out Games"!

There's also a link to his website at the right side of this page but you have to be +18 to watch and don't be offended by nudity!!!!

Paradise

Paradise (is what you're looking for) is a song recorded by Diana Ross in the 80's. At that time she owned her own island that she got as wedding gift from her late husband Arne Naess and was located somewhere in the South Pacific. In fact it was part of French Polynesia. This is somewhere between Australia and South America and I'm sure that when I say Tahiti, Rangirora, Manihi and aspecially Bora-Bora you will think about white sandy beaches, cristal clear water and palm trees... in other words paradise! I had the chance to visit paradise in November 1998. I think about it a lot cause it was a great experience flying around the world and passing the date line. We left Fiji on monday evening and arrived in Tahiti on monday morning so we re-lived that same day again! I hope to go back one day... but in the mean time I will have to do it with the pictures and the memories of what I call paradise! I enjoyed my stay at the Manihi Pearl Beach Resort. There's a link for it in the links section that you will find at the right side of this page. Enjoy! Song of the day = "Paradise" by Diana Ross http://download.yousendit.com/E8236A7071E1AF71
