Trusting your partner, no matter what!

In every relationship you have to trust your partner! It doesn't matter what kind of relationship you're in. It can be lovers, parents-children, busyness partners, or in sports. When it comes to sports I think that in pair skating the girls really have to trust their partner. If you see how they are lifted and thrown into the air you sometimes start wondering... are these girls crazy? When you speak with them they all say the same... it's fun, it's dangerous and you don't think about what can go wrong... and sometimes it does go wrong!!! In my opinion one of the worst falls ever accured to Tatiana Totmianina & Maxim Marinin during their long program at Skate America 2004.
I just had judged them the year before in Dortmund at the World Championships where they won the Gold! After a fall like this it takes a while before you're ready to go for it again... but Tatiana & Maxim did and this year at the Olympics in Torino they showed the world that they have moved on after this terrible accident bringing the Gold home for Russia!
