"Miss Barbara"
.
Barbara Klerk (Basha for her friends) and Miss Barbara for everybody else (lol) will represent Belgium at the Junior World Championships in 2007 in Oberstdorf, Germany. Her coach Sandy Suy is a very good coach who always gets the best out of her skaters. Not only is she a good coach she's also a very good choreographer! A couple of years ago a US judge had seen one of Sandy's programs to music which was also used by Olympic Champion Sarah Huges and said that Sandy's program was much more Olympic quality stuff than the one made for Huges, which propably had cost a fortune to make! Anyway, I know that both Sandy and Barbara are looking forward to this event. We, the Technical committee decided to send Barbara even though she had a bad skate at our Nationals last November. Barbara is a fighter and I'm sure that she will do a good job in Oberstdorf! I would like to take this opportunity to wish her already good luck at her first ever World Championships! I always call her "Babske" which is her name but in a sweet way. So... good luck "Babske"!
