Battle for the "GOLD"

.
Every four years when the Olympics come around all athlete's want to be at their very best! Everybody wants to win the "Gold" at Olympics but only one will! This means a lot of sacrifices to get to the "Gold", the goal of their dreams... It must be extraordinary when you hear your own National Anthem play in front of thousands of people and you're standing on 1st place. At the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City the battle was on between two team mates... Evgeny Plushenko and Alexei Yagudin both representing Russia were competing in the Figure Skating Men's event. Both were equally good! Plushenko better in technique while Yagudin is more the performer... This could make the difference here cause at that time the 6.0 system was still being used and in case of a tie it means the second mark (performance/artistic impression) breaks the tie. Sometimes athlete's are "rivals" on the field but are the "best of friends" off the field. Let's find out what both Evgeny and Alexei have to say about their "relationship"....
