Last weekend at the "Kempen Trophy" I ran into Monique Van de Velde which is a former Dutch skater that I hadn't seen for 10 years. I judged Monique many times during her career as an amateur skater and she was one of my favorite Dutch skaters. Also off the ice we had a good relationship, so seeing her back after all these years was great! I recently had seen her on television in the program "Dancing on Ice" which she and her partner (Belgian Celebrity) Stafke Coppens won. Stafke was also at the "Kempen Trophy" and is a big fan of Belgian skater Kevin Van der Perren! It was the first time I met Stafke but he's very friendly and down to earth. Here's one of Stafke's and Monique's best programs on "Dancing on Ice"!
