In a couple of weeks I'm going to LA. I'm looking forward to that cause I'm gonna meet a lot of friends there. I also look forward to visit Rodeo Drive, not that it's that special but just to walk there is very relaxing to me. I won't (can't) buy anything there cause the prizes are way too high. Anyway, Rodeo Drive (pronounced "ro-DAY-oh") generally refers to a famous three-block long stretch of boutiques and shops in Beverly Hills, California, United States, although the street stretches further north and south. It is known as one of the most expensive shopping districts in the world.The center divide on this street was a horse path until the early 1950s, thus the name, but the shopping district as presently constituted developed in the 1970s. The business district is at once an exclusive shopping district, but also a major tourist attraction. The "Rodeo Drive" business district also includes those businesses on the streets that lie for a few blocks in either direction. So if you have some money to spend..... ro-DAY-oh is The Place To Be!

For years the sport of Ladies figure skating was dominated by Irena Slutskaya and Michelle Kwan. Both won many competitions and titles.

However the title they both wanted the most never did happen.

My Lucky number

As I told you in a previous post.... I bought a new car and it's time to reveal what it is.
It's a Peugeot 207 CC-Pack which I ordered on July 7th. Guess that this year it's all in the game, the game called numbers.....lol

A-men & B-men

Today I received a nice present from one of my students! This girl is a student in the driving school from Antwerp but asked for me. I normally teach in Kontich. Anyway, I only gave this girl one lesson and then went with her to take the test which she had failed several times before with one of my colleagues. I can't say that her test was good but she passed and in the end that's what really matters isn't it? After her test she asked me which perfume I was wearing cause she liked the smell of it. I always wear A-men in the winter and B-men in the summer. Both are by Thierry Mugler which I told her. This all happened a couple of weeks ago. Now today I received this nice package and when I opened it there was one bottle of A-men and one bottle of B-men in the box. It also included some shower gel by Mugler! This must have been the most expensive gift I have ever gotten from a student!

I'm a celebrity! lol

Yes after one day of shooting for a TV-program called "1000 zonnen en garnalen" I can say I'm a star! The filming took forever and so did the interviews! I used to be a member of the "Rollercoasterfriends" but I didn't continue my membership 3 years ago. However I was invited by the present members of the board to join them on this trip. And you know what???? I had to do the most things! lol When we arrived at "De Efteling" the TV was already there and after a brief introduction they decided that I was going to be the one that had to do most of the interviews. When we arrived at the "Vliegende Hollander" it took at least half an hour to find the right spot for the interview. This was just in front of the coaster. Since it's their newest attraction it was also the most crowded place so I had a lot of spectators watching the filming and my interview. Since it was not my first interview (have done several in English and even one in French for skating) I was quite relaxed. The interview took about 30 minutes and then they interviewed two others (Joris & Bart) as well for about 5 minutes each! lol After that we had to go on the ride itself. Normally you have to wait in line but when you're there with television you could go on it just like that! We even had to sit through for 3 rides in a row. After that it was interviews again. Then they decided to film us one by one on the ride but this time with a helmet on. On this helmet was a camera attached that would film you during the ride itself! Since this ride is not spectacular I almost fell a sleep.lol Don't know when the program will air but they told us somewhere at the end of the month! If you want to know if we made 1000 rollercoasters..... just watch the program!

1000 Rollercoaster's

Today I'm off to "De Efteling" amusement park in Holland and this for a TV-program called "1000 zonnen en garnalen". The TV-company invited 6 people who have done a lot of different rollercoaster's in their life. I did 238 different coasters allover the world and will add one more today! "De Vliegende Hollander", which is a water-coaster, is the newest coaster in "de Efteling" and now the people from television speculate that when we put all our different coasters together we (the six of us) end up with 1000 rollercoaster's. .

Saying goodbye to an old friend.....

Today my car broke down! Well it didn't really broke down cause it still is as good as new although it's 14 years old! Here in Belgium we have some kind of quality control every year and it turns out that my car won't make it this time! Not unless I pay a lot of money to repair it. I almost have a new car for that amount of money. That's why I decided to buy a new one! I know that I will say goodbye to my old car with a lot of pain in my heart! I already know what my next car will be but I won't say it for the moment..... It looks a little like this one right here! This is a Peugeot Quasar!.

The Incredible Tommie Ross

As you know I'm a Huge Diana Ross fan and I just came across this wonderful Diana-impersonator of which I think he's the best I've ever seen! Most of them think that by putting on a big wig, a big smile and sing along to Diana Ross' music they become Diana Ross! Well..... unfortunately for them it takes more than a wig and a smile to be Diana Ross. Don't forget that Diana has great charisma and after seeing Tommie all I can say is...... WOW! Finally one who captured the whole Diana Ross persona!

Have you noticed that when you ask a woman how she wants her body too look like???? They all describe a man!!! lol Yes they do cause they all want broad and straight shoulders, they all want the flat stomach, they want the small and tight hips and they all want long legs...... all features you will see more often on a man's body... Maybe that's the reason why some drag-queens (I mean the real good one's) can trick everybody! Don't take my word for it just watch the video. All girls you will see are.........men!
